Dr. Glusman originally came from New York City.
He did his undergraduate training at the University of Chicago, New York University and Columbia University.
He studied medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and then did an internship in Internal Medicine followed by residency training in Neurology at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.
He was in private practice briefly in Oregon, and then pursued advanced training in a post-doctoral fellowship in cerebrovascular disease (stroke), at the State University of New York at Buffalo, New York.
He followed this with a second post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuro-physiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas / Parkland Hospital, Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Glusman practiced in a multi-specialty group practice in Palestine, Texas before moving to El Paso in the spring of 2003.
